Zach Nelson, CFP®, MBA

FINANCIAL ADVISOR

Background

As a financial advisor for social media influencers, Zach Nelson, CFP®, MBA is the first line of defense for these entrepreneurs. He designs financial planning that helps shield them from the ups and downs an unstable cash flow can bring. The analysis they work on together is designed to enable them to still achieve their life goals taking into account the risk of an abrupt termination.

His realm of work is not limited just to social media stars. Rock House Financial has an emphasis on charitable giving, and he is happy to speak with anyone who has questions about how to give to others and arrange their finances to enable carrying on of their legacy through charitable donations.

Zach graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in Personal Financial Planning and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Woodbury School of Business. Shortly after graduation, he joined the Rock House Financial team, became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, and a licensed Investment Advisor Representative.

His favorite part of the job is getting to know each clients’ individual goals and then helping them prepare, financially, to meet them. He enjoys the fact that each case is different because everyone has their own past experiences that have shaped who they are today.

While on the UVU Men’s Basketball team, he won two conference championships and is now the only player in UVU history to have at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 200 assists. With his competitive basketball career now over, Zach spends a lot of his evenings and weekends outdoors with his wife Prezley, their two dogs, and their daughter Zuri.

Zach is a member of the Fee-Only Network and NAPFA. You can connect with him on LinkedIn.
