Jackson Hansen

Financial Analyst

Background

After being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as a kid, Jackson gravitated toward the field of Endocrinology in wanting to help individuals struggling with diabetes. He has always been analytically minded, though, and soon learned that the medical path was not for him. Financial planning was introduced to him through a family friend, and he has since become passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals in life. Jackson graduated from Utah State University in December of 2021 with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Personal Financial Planning. While at USU, Jackson was heavily involved in the Financial Planning Association® as well as the Finance and Economics Club.

Jackson works as an analyst at Rock House Financial, assisting the lead advisors in creating financial plans and analyzing data. He works on extensive analysis of tax planning, investment planning, and planning for retirement for our clients. Jackson sits in and takes notes for client meetings, as well as helps to service client accounts. He plans on gaining his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification sometime next year.

Although Jackson was raised in Ohio, he grew up visiting his extended family every year in Utah and Idaho. Some of his favorite memories are having fun with his cousins who lived in Utah. He always wanted “to go out West” for college and accepted an offer to play football at Utah State University. His football career was cut short due to injuries, but he was thankful he attended Utah State where he met his amazing wife, Erica. Jackson and his wife love living in Utah and everything it has to offer; they enjoy golfing, hiking, and paddle boarding together.
